Kellis Miller, a Wills Point small business owner, announced his
candidacy for Precinct 3 Commissioner During the Summer of 2003.. Miller
has been in the construction business for 40 years in Wills Point,
operating K. M. Plumbing, Miller Construction, and Mountain Stream

R.P. "Pat" Burnett, Jr., (D-Edgewood).
Sheriff R.P. "Pat" Burnett announced November 19 that he would
seek a second term as Van Zandt County Sheriff. A former Terrell
Police Department Sergeant, Burnett has led the Van Zandt County
Sheriff's Department through a tremendous period of growth during

Tax Assessor-Collector Vicki L. Looney announced recently she
would seek a second term as Van Zandt County Tax

term as Constable. Peden has served as constable for precinct 3

"Hunky" Hogan, (D-Wills Point).
Precinct 3 Constable Clarance Hogan is unopposed in his quest for
another term. Constable Hogan has served as constable for 11
years. He is a certified master peace officer, and began his law
enforcement career in Van Zandt County as a deputy for former
Sheriff Travis Schaeffer. Constable Hogan has numerous hours of
continuing education and schooling and is looking forward to
serving the people of Precinct 3 for another term. |
