Ronnie Daniell
For
Van Zandt County Justice of the Peace,
Precinct 2
Ronnie Daniell is the former pastor of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
He currently serves as Chaplin for the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office
and the Department of Public Safety in Van Zandt County.
He previously served as a funeral director for Eubank Funeral Home in
Canton. He is a member of Canton's First Baptist Church.
Mr. Daniell graduated from Terrell High School, the Dallas Institute of
Funeral Service, and attended Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas.
He has received special training from the National Transportation
Safety Board and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in
disaster training related to crash recovery, and has received forensic
training taught by renowned dental pathologist Dr. Stephen Smith.
Mr. Daniell is also active in civic causes, and organized the Van Zandt
County Sesquacentenial Choir in 1998.
Mr. Daniell is a native of Van Zandt County, having been born in Grand
Saline in 1947.
He and his wife, Linda (Elliott Daniell live in Precinct 2.
Mr. Daniell says he plans to enforce the statutes firmly, honestly,
justly,and without bias or partiality show to any individual, group or
organization.
Mr. Daniell also plans to establish a teen court, and hold court
sessions one night each week to provide access to those who cannot access
the court during regular business hours.
He also plans to assist in crime prevention education, and work with
other elected officials to establish regular precinct meetings to hear the
voices of the people.
