AUSTIN-- With elections fast approaching in November, the race is on to register new voters so that their voices can be heard. Voter apathy is at an all time high among the 18-26 year old crowd. They either feel they can't make a difference or that politics is boring and a waste of time.
Virtual Politics, a new Austin based company that specializes in creative CD marketing aimed at attracting 18-26 year old
voters to participate in the political process is publishing the 1st ever political magazine on CD specifically targeting
this market.
Virtual Politics CD Magazine is a non-partisan resource publication that focuses on educating young voters about
their responsibilities in the political process.
"I think the CD magazine will pique the interest of young voters who receive it." said Lashonda D. Hale,
Publisher. "The CD has become an integral part of youth culture. Whether it's listening to music, accessing the
internet or playing games, CD's are everywhere. We feel that by putting this magazine on CD, the 18-26 year old crowd will
find this publication entertaining as well as educational."
Virtual Politics CD Magazine will be published quarterly. It will offer such features as original music, internet
resources, games, interviews with celebrities and politicians.
The magazine will hit the streets in March in select cities and will be available through participating Get Out To Vote
grassroots movements and local establishments. To find out how your organization can become a part of this innovative
project or to become a sponsor, contact Virtual Politics @ or visit us at www.virtualpolitics.us.
